Overall I have heard that Firefox 3 is the best web browser and all the reviews that I have
read thus far have had mutual critique. The new version (Firefox 3.1 Beta) is especially
*fast
*customizable
*uses fewer resources than most computers
Flock 2 is an enhanced version of Firefox 3 and is great for internet maniacs because it provides speed, security, and options. However, Windows users should just consider using Google Chrome.
*includes blog editor
*integrates social networking
*integrates photo sites
Google Chrome Beta provides fast and private browsing and search. It is simple (great for user friendly computers) and it also provides stability. It enables offline use of Internet apps. Chrome also provides the best crash protection available.
Opera 9.5 is best for old or underpowered computers.
*doesen't bog them down as much as more modern browsers
*has excellent history of searching
*synchronizes across computers
Finally, as a last last last resort; Internet Explorer (version 8). In my expirience as long as the computer is fairly new, IE 8 provides excellent tab features, privacy, and security but for me it's been a real lemon.
