The First 'Psychedelic' Computer Invention

In 1976 Steve Jobs and Steven Wozniak invented the Apple I in Steve Jobs' parent's garage. After a long history of ups and downs in business pursuits Steve Jobs was finally able to establish a stable company. Both of the inventors of the MAC computers were on LSD at the time and in later interviews Steve Jobs recalled his LSD experiences as "one of the two or three most important things" in his life. Steve Jobs came up with the name of his new company Apple from a memory he had happily spent working in an orchard one summer in Oregon. The name 'Macintosh' was penned by Jef Raskin who is historically considered to be the 'father of the Mac'.Macintosh is a variation from the fruit (apple) Mcintosh. Today Steve Jobs is a chairman and CEO of Apple computers and earns a salary of $1 a year. He lives with his wife and three kids in the apricot orchards.
